All data on your device remains on your device.

No data leaves your device. There are no servers, no cloud storage, no external databases.

Transcribe does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data, including:

The app is completely self-contained with zero external data transmission.

4. Internet Connection

Transcribe does not require an internet connection to function. The app works completely offline. No data is ever transmitted over the internet.

5. Data Deletion and Control

COMPLETE CONTROL

You have complete control over all data in Transcribe:

• Delete Individual Items: Remove specific transcriptions, notes, or preferences directly in the app
• Clear App Data: Use your device's app settings to clear all app data at once
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all associated data
• No Recovery: Deleted data cannot be recovered from external servers (because we don't have any)

6. Device Permissions

Transcribe requests only the minimal permissions necessary to function:

• Storage: To save and access transcriptions on your device
• Microphone (if applicable): Only for audio input when recording transcriptions
• No Other Permissions: The app does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or other sensitive data

Even if permissions are granted, no data is collected or transmitted.

7. Cookies and Tracking

NONE

Transcribe does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or any other tracking technologies. There is no user profiling, no behavioral tracking, and no advertising.

8. Policy Updates

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since Transcribe does not collect any data, significant policy changes are unlikely. However, we will always inform users of any important updates.
